Police detained 4 individuals at Bilbao airport in northern Spain on Saturday following clashes that broke out after activists from a Gaza-bound flotilla returned dwelling, officers stated.
The incident occurred as supporters gathered within the arrivals corridor to welcome six campaigners as they arrived on a flight from Turkey after having been detained by Israeli forces.
When a relative of one of many activists tried to strategy them, a police officer forcefully prevented him from doing so, resulting in scuffles between either side, public broadcaster TVE reported.

Amnesty Worldwide condemned what it described because the “extreme use of pressure” by Basque law enforcement officials on the airport and referred to as for “efficient accountability” over the incident,
“The pictures printed present no legit trigger for the usage of pressure,” it added in an announcement.
